Positive changes have also recently been announced to the management structure of the Sales and Engineering functions, with Mr Kim Bovien being appointed as the Group Sales Director, and Mr Andrew Mellor becoming the Group Technical Manager. Kim’s brief is to develop and lead the sales strategy across the group, whilst Andrew’s focus will be the development, control and standardisation of product design.

Managing Director of DTL, Mark Hancock said ‘It has been a period of positive and much needed change for the company, designed to harmonise and control our International operations and take more of a global approach in order to take the group to the next stage.  The decision to move the factory was due to the logistics of running two sites, and the need for a more modern, manageable facility which will allow the Company to take a more flexible approach to global manufacturing in the future, to the benefit of our customers”.
