Established in the 1930s and originally the tennis section of the Stanton Ironworks Sports and Social Club. Stanton Tennis Club is now the largest tennis club in Ilkeston, offering tennis for all ages and abilities as well as professional coaching. Over the course of the year we play both indoors and outdoors, socially and competitively.

The club works closely with the Lawn Tennis Association and also Erewash Borough Council for whom the club organises tennis courses as part of the its commitment to the wider community.
