IMO Fuel Sulphur Regulations 2020
As of January 2020, the IMO Fuel Sulphur Regulations have been in place, limiting the sulphur content of ship’s fuel oil to 0.5% mass by mass. This has significantly reduced from the previous limit of 3.5% and with penalties such as fines and even imprisonment being enforced for ships not in compliance, it’s important the new rules are met. Our advanced damper designs, with 100% sealing air technology will help you meet regulations. Our Marine Scrubber Dampers are manufactured in Corten, Duplex and SMO 254 and are designed for operating temperatures of < 600 °C and operating pressures of < 0.5 barg.
