Marine Scrubber Dampers

DTL provides DNV-GL approved bespoke 2-way and 3-way dampers for marine scrubber systems.

The design of our scrubber dampers is strongly focused on ensuring the reliability and availability that is demanded by the Marine Industry. Our DNV-GL approved scrubber dampers provide a low maintenance solution for your marine scrubber application, using maintenance free self-adjustable shaft seals and bearings.

Our marine scrubber dampers are typically manufactured in Corten and are suitable for up to 450°C (842°F) and 5000pa (500mmWG).

DTL can supply in any alternative material to suit your marine scrubber dampers application, materials such as Duplex and SMO 254 to allow operating temperatures of around 600 °C (1112°F) and/or operating pressures exceeding 50Kpa (5000mmWG).

Our scrubber dampers can be supplied with our optional soot blowing systems, double linkages and special alloy materials to fulfil your technical and project requirements. The soot blowing system allows connection of your compressed air supply and is specially engineered to prevent the build up of particulates on the metallic seal landing seats, keeping your scrubber dampers working more efficiently for longer.

DTL manufacturing capacity is distributed along Europe, Canada, India and China, ensuring the shortest lead time possible by reducing export shipping times.
